I’ve wanted to bring up faith in a conversation with a friend who was going through a difficult time before… but I hesitated.
Maybe you’ve felt that way, too. You want to share the love of Christ with the people in your life, but sometimes, it feels complicated. What if it comes across the wrong way? What if they don’t respond well? What if you fumble over your words?
I’ve wrestled with these thoughts. But the more I’ve walked with Jesus, the more I’ve realized—sharing His love doesn’t have to be complicated.
It doesn’t always have to be a deep, perfectly timed conversation. Sometimes, faith is shared in the smallest, simplest ways.
- A kind word when someone feels unseen.
- A handwritten note with a verse that speaks to their heart and situation.
- A whispered prayer when you don’t know what else to say.
- A thoughtful gift that reminds them they are loved.
I’ve come to believe that the way we reflect Christ in everyday moments matters just as much as the big conversations. Maybe even more.
Because sometimes, people don’t need a long explanation of faith—they just need to feel it.
They need to know they’re seen. They need to be reminded that they’re not alone. And sometimes, a simple gesture is all it takes to plant a seed.
I hope this post encourages you and reminds you to keep sharing Christ's love and light through the little ways. He will use whatever you do for His glory and purpose.
And if this post found you at the right time, and you’re thinking of someone who could use a little encouragement—maybe because the right words feel hard to find, or you’re too far away to give them a hug—I’d love to help.
You can browse my gift shop. Every gift is thoughtfully curated to help you share Christ-like love in a simple yet meaningful way.
Keep spreading His love, friend.
